I grew up playing travel ice hockey all around the U.S. and Canada. I competed at the USA Hockey National Championships in Florida in 2001 (placing 3rd) and Massachusetts in 2003 (placing 1st). I played college club hockey and was able to travel to the campuses of University of Arizona, Iowa State University, U.S. Naval Academy, Niagara University, University of Oklahoma and many others. To say the least, hockey consumed my life for the 16 years that I played and has taken me all over North America. I have meet many great people and many of them remain friends to this day.
Since I stopped playing hockey I realized the tremendous amount of free time which I have tried to fill with as much adventuring as possible. I have always been a fan of extreme sports, pushing the limits and getting my heart racing. I’m not one to back down from a challenge and I’m always up for a spontaneous adventure. My purpose with this blog is to document and share the travels and stories of my life and hopefully inspire others to step out of their comfort zone and take on adventures of their own!
Safe Travels!
